The Festival is a fun summer tradition that happens every year in the first week of July. Come and celebrate Traverse City’s most well known agricultural product at the midway, as a parade spectator, visiting the Open Space food tents, and family fun activities all around town.

Come and catch one of America's favorite pastimes as the Traverse City Pitspitters take the field. One of the state’s minor league ballparks is brimming with fun for all ages! Buchans

Old Mission Peninsula

One of my favorite memories as a child was picking blueberries at Buchan’s, going home and making fresh blueberry pancakes. We would freeze the rest and snack on the frozen berries the rest of the season. After picking your fill, save room for their homemade ice cream.

TC Nightlife

Traverse City

The best nightlife, in my humble opinion, is sitting around a roaring bonfire and watching the stars come out in the dark sky above. But, if a social experience inside with friends and good vibes is more your thing, there are plenty of bars, lounges, live music and dance clubs in the area.  West Bay Beach Holiday Inn Dayclub and VIEW Nightclub and Side Traxx are great for dancing. Great bars include 7 Monks Tavern, The Parlor, H & L Social, The Little Fleet or any of the great breweries in the area.
